Christian, a real Christian is a believer and follower of Jesus Christ. Jesus would never spread  gossip. Every time gossip is mentioned in the Bible it is listed as a sin and something to be avoided. This person at work either has not matured or grown in their walk with the Lord or they are not serious about following Jesus.

There are at least a couple of possible answers for why the day Christ was crucified is called Good Friday.The archaic meaning of the word “good” is “holy” or meaning “godly”. So Good Friday could have very well have been derived from God’s Friday or Holy Friday such as “Good-bye” is derived from “God be with ye”. This is the day to remember that the love of God sent His Son to die for our sins. Through His sacrificial death our sin was paid for and we
are redeemed when we believe and accept what Christ has done for us.

 
 
It is a very important to decide what teaching, what beliefs, what practices are you going to sit under and associate yourself with. The church you choose will influence what you believe, what you practice and may very well have a great impact on how you will be judged when you stand before God. Not all churches are the same and that is what makes it so important in choosing a church that has the Bible as the foundation for all its teaching. Any church that does not present Jesus Christ as the only way for salvation, or that endorses the homosexual lifestyle or the killing of innocent unborn children I would encourage you to find another church.
 
 
 The church by God’s description is made up of people who have accepted and believed on Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. The reality is that many who have done so have done very little to grow and mature in that relationship. According to a recent survey the average “Christian” only prays 3-5 minutes a day including prayer before meals, 96% have never read the Bible all the way through at least once and only 3% faithfully give tithes. If you are tired of being average and ready to rise to a new level in your relationship with the Lord get plugged in to a church where you will be encouraged and challenged.

 
 
  A person who has a "religious" affiliation would most naturally have a world view based on their system of beliefs. Most religions have a moral standard that will affect how they will live their life.  A person with no moral compass is driven by what ever voice is the loudest.  The main stream media either seems to downplay or emphasizes the candidate's religion depending on what point they want to make. Proverbs 29:2 "When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice. But when the wicked are in power, they groan."

The Lord Jesus Christ said to look or lust after a woman (who is not your wife) is committing adultery in your heart. Adultery always has been and still is considered a serious sin by God. Pornography is a serious breaking of trust and commitment.  This issue needs to be confronted as a sin, confessed as a sin and repented of as a sin. This very well may be an addiction that has captured your husband’s heart. It is very serious and needs serious attention immediately. What a tragedy that such a talented, pretty gifted young woman's life was cut so short. On the one hand, the "everybody goes to heaven when they die" crowd has her singing around the Pearly Gates, while the opposite side of the aisle has condemned her to eternal hell fire and damnation due to her problem with drug addiction. Here is the truth: Only God knows whether Whitney went to heaven or hell. On the other hand, there are multitudes all around us...young and old and all ages in between who are lost and without God or His Son! Nothing can be done concerning Whintey’s eternity but for the rest are we just as concerned about whether they are going to heaven or hell. Without accepting Jesus Christ there is no hope at all.
 
 
 In this nation our founding fathers made it very clear that one of the roles of our government was to ensure "freedom of religion". Please don't confuse this with freedom from religion or as some try to proclaim separation of church and state. Never was it intended that religion should be kept out of government but it was intended to keep government out of religion. Religion, moral beliefs are the very fiber of our laws and way of life.
 
 
When you say you are feeling pressured to give, is it because you currently are not? If the message for three weeks was on prayer would that be okay? Or if the message for three weeks was on being a witness for Jesus Christ would that be okay? Giving, money, possessions is something Jesus talked about more than heaven or hell. Where ever our treasure is there our heart will be also. The basis of our giving needs to be built out of obedience and trust in the Lord. I would encourage you to examine your heart and your giving to see if they are in agreement.
